UOTEK Interface Converter Series
An interface converter that enables hosts on a communication network with different high-level protocols to still cooperate with each other to accomplish a variety of distributed applications. It works at the transport layer or higher. The interface protocol converter can generally be done with an ASIC chip, which is low cost and small in size. It can convert between IEEE802.3 protocol Ethernet or V.35 data interface and standard G.703 protocol 2M interface. It can also convert between 232/485/422 serial port and E1, CAN interface and 2M interface.
